Right in the buzzing heart of Greenwich, opposite the market and just seconds from the Cutty Sark and other sights, our flagship restaurant serves our signature Argentine steaks, great pizzas, pasta and more. We have a buzzy front dining room or a much larger bright and spacious orangery at the back – which is cosy in winter and sunny in summer, perfect for enjoying the long summer evenings. We also have a secret garden for al fresco dining and host weekly live Latin and Jazz music events, regular wine-tastings and lots more.

Our Blackheath restaurant is in Blackheath Village, close to the station and all the shops and with views of the green expanse of the heath itself. Somehow it doesn’t feel like London; in fact we like to think it’s as relaxed and welcoming as our favourite neighbourhood restaurants back home. The Village is always busy and on warm days you can sit outside and watch the world go by. But whenever you come, come hungry!

You may have guessed it from our name, but our inspiration is Buenos Aires, and the classic confiterias that we knew when we were growing up and fabulous parillas where the meat was succulent and wine flowed freely. We wanted to create somewhere you could hang out and relax with family and friends, where you could eat good quality, affordable food, and above all where you could find great steaks, pizza and pasta – just like the best places in Buenos Aires.
Our food is made with passion – and of course genuine Argentinian beef. We think the closer to home food is made or sourced the better, but we also reckon that Argentinian beef is the best in the world by some way. Argentinian cows feed on the sweet grass of the Pampas, which produces meat that is flavoursome, succulent and low in cholesterol.
Argentina is an oddball among South American countries, populated by immigrants from Spain and Italy, and with a cuisine that derives partly from its Mediterranean influences, jumbled together in a uniquely Argie mix. We don’t only serve steak, but great pizzas and pasta dishes too, along with chorizo and empanadas made in the kitchen by our chefs to our own recipes. We reckon they taste better that way.We only use Argentinian beef, and many say that this is the best in the world. There are several reasons for this. It’s sourced from the finest Herefordshire and Angus cattle, which were introduced in the early nineteenth century by the British.
Our wine list is perhaps uniquely made up only of wines from Argentina, which produces more wine than any other country in South America and is the fifth largest wine producer in the world, Despite that, the quality is high, and the diversity – as you might expect in a large a country with such a varied climate – unrivalled. Join us for one of our regular wine-tastings.
Thursday night is music night at our Greenwich restaurant, hosting regular performances from Argentine and Latin singers and musicians. Our Orangery is a wonderful venue, with lots of space and a cosy, intimate atmosphere. Come by for dinner and make believe you’re in downtown Buenos Aires for the night.
We regularly host fun and informative Argentine wine-tastings at our Nelson Road restaurant, sometimes with the winemakers themselves, tasting at least half a dozen wines and enjoying a supper of cheeses and charcuterie, traditional empanadas and homemade chorizo, dessert and coffee. All the wines are available to buy at a discount on the night and the event generally lasts around 2 hours. The cost per person is £40.
We cater for all kinds of functions, from private parties to high-end corporate events – either delivering the food to your door or hosting a fully catered party at our Greenwich Orangery, which can be hired for private events. We only use the freshest ingredients and our menus reflect the rustic, Mediterranean flavours of our restaurants, with a bit of British seasonality and tradition thrown in.
We do both smart and informal, and we can tailor our menus around you. We offer a range of options to suit each occasion, whether you want finger food and canapés, an informal buffet or a full-on Argentinian barbecue (our favourite!). But we love to cook, so if you want something that’s not on the menu, just ask.

The Orangery at our Greenwich restaurant is an entirely self-contained space, with bare brick walls and a glass roof. It is light and airy in summer, when you can open the doors to the garden, and warm and cosy on winter evenings. The doors to the orangery close so the space can be as self-contained as you wish. It is air-conditioned and has tables and chairs to seat 50, plus there is space for a further 20 in the garden if required. At more informal events the capacity is around 75.
We can cater anything from canapés, empanadas to a Mediterranean buffet or an authentic Argentine barbecue. For more information, contact Kate Vargas on 07775 653235 or drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
